I finally got around to seeing Little Shop of Horrors this weekend. I think I put it off for so long because of lingering memories of the cartoon based on it and how awful it was. And after having seen the movie, they made a kids' show off of THAT?! Yeesh. It's surprising how well the plant model has held up over the years. Sure some of the scenes with the vines moving are a bit cheesy, but overall it still looks good. Frank Oz rocks. It was a nice surprise to find out that Bill Murray was in it too! Hmmm, the Ghostbusters vs Audrey II...
And the original ending they shot was waaay better than the one shown in theaters. Lousy focus testing.
